Default Smoked Crappie. Anyone done some?

Just curious if anyone had smoked any crappies and how they were.
Just finished smoking up a few steelhead and it got me to thinking about other fish.
Was kinda thinking about try'n to smoke some on the river this summer for a cheese & cracker wine feast one night.
Skin on, overnight brine in 2:1 brown sugar & salt, 2hr smoke (couple pan of chips), heat only to finish.
Thoughts?

Some of the guys over here do it. They turn out ok, sometimes a little dry. The 2 hr smoke should turn out really good.

It's tasty..can get dry and does not quite have the fat content to moisten and hold the smoke. Baste the fillets or use a beer pan in the bottom of your smoker for moisture.

Anything can be smoked!!
