Ooooooh I like that!! I have a few "finesse" jigs I like to tie and do pretty well on them. I was thinking about tieing one on a 1/8oz darterhead to fish with a spinning rod. Thats a pretty cool trailer also...

Cut a few bristles off the weed guard and I'd love it too

If you look at the photo you will see that the weed guard is cut but stills has all the fibers extend past the hook point when the weed guard is bent down. I cut my weed gard parallel to the hook shank so when the bass closes it's mouth on the jig the weed guard does not poke the fish in the roof of it's mouth, it just bends down Denney Brower showed me this trick. Looks like the perfect bait to me. I prefer porkrinds but that is a cool trailer.

I got two plastic lures from a fishing buddy ( James Smiley ). I do not know what brand or the name of it but as soon as I saw it I was thinking jig trailer.
best 5 is good! I was on the fish last week. I had 20+ pounds of bass on my line last Sunday (in 4 bass), not all landed .

This is a photo of the plastic bait I used as a trailer on my jig.
Any one know what lure this is?
Thanks
Roger
