Default Tillamook Bait is the Place

I posted a few days ago asking about where to buy bait in large quantities. I had also mentioned then that Tillikoom Bait had not responded to an e-mail I had sent them. I wish to publicly appoligize to them for that comment, as it was taken differently than what I was trying to communicate. I had e-mailed a couple of other bait dealeres and didn't get any reply, so just thaught the request was out of line and no response would be made. I have since discovered that for what ever reason, the e-mail address I provided them was one that they where unable to get a succesful e-mail back to me. It was a work address and we have been having server problems. At any rate, Marie has gone to extra effort to communicate with me. My hat is off to Tillamook bait for there extra efforts.

I agree with you Finn-icky. I too, stopped by Tillamook Bait Co today. Picked up some herring as well and enjoyed a great chat with Marie. The bait was top quality, so was the conversation!

Marie....it was worth the drive. Thanks!

Marie; I'm glad I made the trip. Now I just have to wait for more springers to start showing. By the way, the bait I picked up is top quality. If anyone else is needing bait. I strongly urge you to contact Marie. It's going to be hard to get again this year. For me it was a three hour trip down and back, and my bait concerns are now behind me. The best I've found in the Portland area for reds (but will not mention who) are ok, but not as good as what I got from Marie. Don't be surprised when you go shopping for bait that limits will be the rule for how many you can get, at least here in the Portland area. Good luck to All on the springers.
