Default New Breakfast Ideas Needed

HELP! Going camping with the gang this weekend and I'm in charge of breakfast. I'm sick of the same ol' eggs, hash browns, and bacon breakfast. Don't get me wrong it's great but I want something different. What ideas do you chef's got? I'll be cooking for around 12 guys so it has to be able to be mass produced on site.

Thanks all for the help!!!

The good news is the guys I camp with are excellent camp cooks, the bad news is I got them to impress when I cook!!!!

u could try some mexican style - red-egg breakfast burritos

all you need is eggs, chorizo (the kind in the "tube"), tortillas, cheese, and whatever else you feel like puttin in 'em (i like pico style chunky salsa)

all you do is squeeze the chorizo in a pan..med-med/high heat (don't walk away from it..it cooks fast)...bring it to a simmer..it'll basically melt into a yummy greasy substance - once it's simmering stir in your eggs...when the eggs are scrambled...you're done...add whatever else you want in your tortilla/burrito and munch away...great flavor...

personally, once i get my burrito made i give it a quick pan fry in light oil just to brown it a bit.

match it up with a red eye (red-beer) and you'll be set til supper

fish on!!!

Corned Beef Hash fry up some potatoes and onions, mix and fry up with the hash, top with a fried egg serve with toast.

Make some JoJo potatoes before you leave baked in the oven. Brown them in a pan add fried egg on top serve with toast

Biscuits and gravy, everything can be made in advance, or if you're good with a dutch oven, there's nothing better than fresh baked biscuits.

Eggs benedict

Egg sandwiches, like McMuffins, with bacon, sausage, cheese etc

French toast

steel cut oats, or grits

I make big batchs of breakfast burritos (hashbrowns, sausage & scrambled eggs wrapped in flour tortillas and wrapped in foil. We heat up the burritos and then we add hot sauce and enjoy.

Joe's Special
The wife makes it....a little different every time
The local "Biscuits Cafe" serves it.
Here's a recipe that I found :
http://recipes.howstuffworks.com/joe...ial-recipe.htm
Go really easy on the Worcestershire...it's a very dominant seasoning (we don't use it).

It is an awesome camp breakfast which can be tweaked all sorts of ways depending on taste.
Super lean ground beef from Gartner's or a little ground sausage added in....fresh spinach.....shrooms....the list goes on.

Sometimes the wife will do home fries on the side...I can feel my cholesterol meter going up just thinking about this
