clear lake mt hood

has anybody gotten into clear lake? is it still iced over? any help would be great. thanks lead.

I drove over the mountain yesterday and all the turnoffs I saw to most of the lakes were still closed. I didn't notice clear lake specifically. The road to Trillium had the gate locked and snow on the road.

My buddy is driving back tomorrow or Friday. I will have him check.

I don't think the road is open until after April 1 to vehicles over 40" wide

I believe it wont be open for a few more weeks at least.... when it does me and my buddy will be there to put the hurtin on the trout like we did last year...
