Anybody know when north fork opens, it is close to my place and I enjoy fishing it the regs are kinda confusing, so I thought I would ask.

Thanks in advance

It opens the end of May, I believe the 26th if I am not mistaken. I drove by there last Sunday and there were a half dozen people fishing it. I had to laugh, it is posted in a few different places up there that it is closed.

How do they get in though? Isn't there a locked gate?

4. North Fork Reservoir upstream to
Milepost 32 on Hwy. 224
• Open May 22-Oct. 31.
• Only adipose fin-clipped trout may be taken, 5 per day.

These were all bank fishermen up there. Plenty of bank access.

I know a fellow that lives up there, he told me that there are always folks fishing out of season there. They especially like to fish the area where the road crosses over the tunnel. He said the LEO's drive through there and hand out tickets and on the next pass they hand out more to a new batch.
