So who is going to give up fishing for Lenten Season?

As I understand it, giving up something that means a lot to you is the idea of the lent sacrifice.

I suggest everybody out there, go all out and give up fishing (I will have the rivers to myself

The other side of that is Lessez less bon temps roulez! In other words overindulge in the thing you are about to give up for lent. Hence the Nawlins Mardi Gras spectacle every year.

Been fishing hard for months now. I guess I could give it up till say ... Saturday.

I have been given lots of shots lately, some in fun (like SteelieSteve above) and some intentionally below the belt. What is a guy to do about the cheap shots but ignore those that cant help their ignorance. :depressed: I will get even with SteelieSteve come springer season.
