Default LED Trailer Lights

Got a mailer from Harbor Freight, they have LED trailer lights for $8.99. Pretty good price.

I agree...LED lights are better than standard, but if they leak or have a poor costruction quality they wont last.

Well, since the cheapest LEDs out there (for boat trailer use) run about $50, I'd be a little wary.
I buy LED indicator lights for use at work in control panels, and even those cost $15-20. And they're just single bulbs.

I have used some of the cheap chinese LED lights and they work great and outlast standard bulbs. They use hardly any power. Just make sure they are sealed well before installing them for boat trailer service.

My thought is you may want to seal around the cover/houseing and where the wires enter the houseing and you should be fine! Worse case scenario, you are out of $10.....

I got some for harbor freight about 4 yaers ago I think the i paid 39.99 they are still working great!!!
