Default Who has had good results with Kwikfish ?

There are alot of people fishing for salmon & Steelhead that use flatfish or Kwikfish and I think they both work good. Have any of you had better results with one or the other? I have caught Springers on the all chrome and chrome with Blue accent  this was before all the new colors came out. I have seen people catch salmon with the wrap on and with no wrap, so what is your preference?

I have no preference on which one I use. Last year I used qwickfish for springers. No wrap no scent no nothin. Crome with yellow. Did pretty good too.

I like the Kwikfish better than the Flatfish, it seems that the kwikfish have a little better action to them. I always put a wrap on the kwikies. For springers on the Columbia I use K-14,K-15, and don't forget to tune them after each bait wrap is put on. This is the basics that will get you started..........Bobber Down

The Kwik Fish with the most teeth marks in my box is silver with chartuese(sp?) tail and blue tiger stripes. I dropped off 8 plugs to B.C. Angler in Oregon City to be custom painted. If you cant find the color your looking for, just paint them yourself or have them do it. Only $2 per plug. Always put a sardine wrap on the plug and change out the fillet often. Nooks just love that oily stank!

Certainly didn't catch a lot of springers last year but I did see a lot of silver and charteuse in the hog lines around us.
dawhunt, I just picked up a K-13 silver with charteuse head and tail at the sportsmans show. Hope thats the secret color this year.
We also caught a couple on silver with red and yellow tiger stripes.
Used herring wrap or sardine butter.

Kwik Fish, in the Flourecent Red. For Steelhead
in just about any color water. Also the Silver and Chartruese nose for salmon. Usually I wrap a sandshrimp on the middle treble hook.
Or for Salmon wrap a herring.

I have caught a lot of fish on Kwikfish. Last spring was phenomenal on K-14 and K-13's. We used mostly Silver and Chartreuse combos and some custom painted ones that I did. Dont fish flatfish very much but have heard good things about them also. Columbia Springers

Brass Quikfish with Chartreuse/Green head and tail, chartreuse/green tiger stripes. Best day I ever had in Tidewater- Three rods, three different colors. Six fish all on the same plug!
