Default Wilson River questions

Just saw it for the first time yesterday - what a beautiful river. I am a fly caster (experienced trout, novice steelhead) and am looking for some help determining a good stretch of fly water - saw some near Cedar Creek that looked promising, but not sure how high up to be looking for fish right now. Any opinions for a first trip to the Wilson? Thanks in advance.

Default Re: Wilson River questions

Hi Sean I don't fly fish the wilson but I can tell you that the steelhead are pretty much spread out through the whole river now and if I were you I would fish the upper river like from mile marker 15 and up. Good Luck.
