Cental Oregon Sportsmans Show

I attended the Central Oregon Sportsman's Show yesterday. Great smaller show. The show in Portland is great and has a ton of things to do and all but it is sooooo crowded. Hooked up with Gary Miralles of Shasta Tackle and then attended one of his seminars. Gary is a great guy and his seminar was very informative! If any of you get the opportunity to attend I highly encourage it! There was a Steelhead seminar just prior to the kokanee seminar. Both were great and I came away with some great tips and some free gear.
As a veteran of the trade shows the first thing I look for when attending a show is the seminar schedule. The seminars are all free and there are some of the top fishing and hunting guides willing to share some of their tricks.

That was a good seminar by Gary of Shasta Tackle yesterday....some great tips! I'd like to personally thank Robbie of R&K Spinners for his help and generosity. I've talked alot with Robbie (Hoochieguy) on the kokanee sites and it was a pleasure to finally meet him in person at the show yesterday.

If you go out to the show make a point to stop by the Big R booth and talk kokanee with Terry. He's done alot of the seminars here in Central Oregon and really knows these lakes.

Fairgrounds in Redmond on the way to the airport. Noon- 8 today. 10-8 Sat, 10-4 Sun

Dont forget to stop by the Kokanee Power booth next to Shasta Tackle . If you miss one of garys seminars . Come on by Pappys Pizza next to Fred Meyer in Bend on Monday evening @ 6pm . Kokanee Power will be holding a general membership meeting @7pm and Gary will be holding a seminar before the meeting .

There are two conference rooms a Pappy's. We will be in the one in the back. If you missed Gary's seminar at the Sportsman's show this will be a good opportunity to catch one. Everyone is welcome.
