Default That 8lb Col. R. Smallie

Could we try again with a picture of that fella's big smallie from the CR? Maybe if we try again we can keep it ifish friendly. Darn shame to not have a photo of a fish like that to inspire us as we enter the '10 season.
Anyone else read the article where they interviewed a Wa Fish and Game staffer who shocked some areas on the river and weighed in what was it, 10+ lbers, or was it even more thna that? I wish I woulda kept that article, as there in there alright.

We can make it work with the pic, we just need a little more structure to keep the pic from being removed. So everyone pic one of the three acceptable responses, and memorize it. Let's try to not all pick the same one and please say it so it's believable and no questioning, no humor, and no comments of any kind.

Acceptable responses (remember the finger is on the trigger to pull the pic so don't blow it for us!):

1- OMG, what a truly incredible accomplishment. That man is easily the greatest big fish fisherman that ever lived, the best numbers fisherman, ofcourse being Codeman.
2- Are you sure that's only 8-5, It looks way bigger than that?
3- I'm going to start leaving my fly down- it looks good on him.

raptorschild, c'mon, buddy, admit you just smiled a little bit on this friday Post the pic- we love it- it's an AWESOME smallmouth. Also, tell that guy you have a friend that has a smallmouth mold that big

dave, you seem like a genuinely funny guy bro.
i look forward to your sarcasm/humor on this board.

having said that, isn't it ridiculous how things can blow
up on the internet? like the mods said, it's easy to misinterpret
someone's angle on a message board... odds are, we're all decent
guys with a passion for angling.

Absolutely. I've met many of these guys and there's not a person on here I wouldn't gladly spend a week fishing with- infact it would be my honor. I have to remind myself sometimes that not everyone knows that underneath my sarcasm is a humble admiration.

Here's a 23" male walleye from Irrigon a couple weeks ago that left a deposit on me (note the name). I probably would have wiped that off.
