Default Clackamas Report

My wife (Flasher) and I fished the Clackamas from Barton to Carver yesterday. The river was in perfect condition, 13', green, and very few boats. We launched @ 11 AM, and fished every hole really hard, w/ Diver& Bait, Plugs, Drift fished Corkies & Eggs, and even tried Bobber & Jigs. Our total catch for the trip, ZZEERROO!!! It was very slow, we saw Dave Johnson, he said he had 2 in the boat. We saw one fish lost, and one other boat w/ one fish. Other than that everyone else was Fishless. Oh Well, it was a spectacular day on the river, w/ my Wonderful Wife!!

I remember waving at you by the ramp.

We ended up with six but had to run around a lot to get them.

Drachir, It doesn't matter if you caught fish or not, you were the big winner. You had a great day on the water with your wife and I am very envious. Can not seem to get mine out if it's less than 75 degrees out there. A real bonus would have been a fish for her. Congrats on your great day. Best quality time you could have fishing.

I too was fishless yesterday but what a great day on the river. First time float from Lower McQuiver (sp?) to Barton. Looking forward to several more attempts.

Did see a sled with two hens and two bankers right at Barton with another two hens. Guess I should have walked the drift instead!

Snapshot,
You are so right, I truly enjoy the time my wife and I spend on the river. She loves to go fishing and I am truly blessed, for such a great wife!!
Dave,
Did you get all your fish Drift Fishing Eggs? Yes that was us you waved at in the blue Willie DB. If anyone is going to catch fish on the Clack, I know it would be you. Great day for your clients!!

I fished from Feldheimers to Barton and got ZIP. I wasn't with my wife but a couple of real cracker heads. Where do I find these people?
