Great article.

I really like the way he expressed catch and release on these trophy's.

My .02 cents

Great read! Thx for this.

I too love hearing and seeing big fish let go. I'm not a catch and release psycho but I am however a selective harvest psycho.

Also, my 2 cents

Thanks for posting the link to this article! I needed a good laugh this morning.
Granted there is some good information in there but pretty few and far between. Lots of good fish tales. Reminded me a lot of the Kim Daggett series! I chuckled at the first readers comment at the bottom of the article. LOL!

Heck, I too have caught multiple 30+ inch browns over the years, BUT I don't carry a camera because it's bad juju................CLASSIC!!!
The PROOF is in the pictures boyz!

Good story. Fun read. "Bad karma to bring a net or camera." He may be telling the truth, but there are so many people you run into that tell "fish stories" that unless I know them REALLLY well or they have a pic, it's hard to believe. Which is unfortunate, if you think about it.

Hey Coyote, remember the guy last year at Crescent that did the "I caught a fish this big " to us? Said he caught a 42 lb lake trout out of there a couple years ago. We just nodded and went "Uh huh, wow! That's a monster." With both of us knowing in the back of our minds...."Ummmm...the state record is 40 lbs, 4 oz, so I highly doubt you caught a 42 lb lake trout last year." Maybe he did, but when everyone went gaga over Kroll's 36 lber back in '05 with it being in the paper and everything, you'd think you'd see something in the paper about a new state record laker....I'm just sayin.....

But it makes fishing just that much more fun. I'm still bringing my camera with me to take pics before I release.
