Default Wilson/Kilches

It looks like the Wilson is on the cusp of being fishable tomorrow ( 7.9ft. right now) if we don't get
much more rain. Will the kilches be a better bet? It's has been 4 weeks since I have been able to go
Steelie fishing and it is killing me. Anybody, is there a chance for tomorrow. I want to drift from the guide shop to Sollies
if possible.

I am going to head over in a few minutes to take a look at the wilson, trask and kilchis rivers. I think the trask might be the best bet for today (Maybe)or the upper wilson. I have been doing realy well on the wilson and trask, that is before the rivers came up. Hooked five fish at donaldsons, last week, four natives and a hatchery. Was a nice chrome hatchery fish for this time of the year, she was 12lbs. and full of eggs. I was using a small size 14 hot pink spin n glo with chartruse yarn and no bait. I'll let you know how the river are when I get in later this evening.

Nice fishing SH! I will be looking for your report tonight. I am familiar with the drift on the Wilson, Kilches and Nestucca. Never fished the Trask. Need to be on the river somewhere tomorrow. if the Wilson drops and your at donaldson's tomorrow, look for me in a red and tan DB.

Sorry to get back to you so late however i had a change of plans yesterday. I went sturgeon fishing instead, and am glad I did. We caught 10 fish in three hours. Three keepers for three guys. One real nice 55"er, a 48" and about a 48"or 50"er up to the boat and shook the hook. Oh well we got two. Did real well in the same spot thursday also. Fresh smelt, you can't beat em.
