Default Anyone heading to the fly tyers expo?

I hope to get down to Albany on Saturday, unless I keep going and hit the McKenzie River instead.

Is anyone planning on attending. It was a great show last year and I hear that it will be even better this year.

Yes this is a great show and well worth attending.

I will be tying both afternoons and taking in all the sites, vendors, and others tyers in the mornings.

While missing some fishing time is a hard choice, all the information available under one roof is fantastic.

I'm on my way there today.

Great show dedicated to fly tying and fly fishing.

I went down there today and had a great few hours of fly tying fun. When I first arrived most of the tyers were tying steelhead flies but later, after a few switches at the tables, I was able to learn some good trout fly techniques.

In addition, there was a gentleman from Snake River Outfitters who did a presentation on the South Fork of the Snake. It was a great presentation, and timely, since I was planning a trip there this summer it was great timing to hear the presentation.

All in all a good day and some good company.
