Hagg Hog
Fished Hagg on Saturday and caught a limit of 10 to 12 inchers. I was all done by around eight . Went back this morning and was the first bankie at boat ramp C. Did not get a bite for almost a 1/2 an hour but when I did it was worth the wait. 29inch 9.56lber. Beats my Hagg best by almost a pound. Put up a great fight and took five minutes or more to land. I fished for another 1 1/2 hours but only got 1 more bite. Caught it on a whole crawler and a green power egg fished right on the bottom.

me and my 3 boys fished for bout 6 hours on sat and nothing. i was beginning to think they all swam down river. what were you using.....i was using power bait of all different colors about 12 inches off the bottum with a little pill to keep it up.

On Saturday I caught all my fish on steelhead eggs, a small cluster . I missed a few on a crawler. I seem to have better luck early in the season on the bottom as opposed to floating the bait up.But I saw plenty of fish caught Saturday on floating power bait. On Sunday I used crawlers, and missed a bite on orange power bait. I only saw one other fish caught on Sunday and it was on corn maize powerbait.

nice fish.
I fished it monday 10-5 and caught and released a dozen or so, kept 5 right around 12-13 inchers. First use of the two rod license, I had one on top and one downrigged about ten feet, downrigger had flashers, topwater was just a rooster tail or a wedding ring. probably 50-50 but the top water rig was alot more fun and the downrigger rod caught bigger fish. Pretty busy at ramp c for a monday.
