Does it have the banana seat, stick shift & sissy bar? I had one of those when I was a kid let us see a picture.

Sorry to hijack you’re for sale add but it brings back memories mine had the tall stick shift same seat but had a sissy bar and rear tire was a slick. I was way cool pedaling that thing around wish I still had it.

I had the stick shift and sparkle white banana seat with the racing slick on the back - good times.

You just described my childhood bike except that mine was a limited edition "Orange Crate", so I had a sparkly orange seat and smaller front tire. I can't remember for sure, but I almost think it had a front shock absorber. See, I was cooler than you!

The Orange Crate had a spinger absorber on the fornt end. They also made a green one called the Apple Crate.

Re: 70's Vintage Schwinn Stingray 3-spd $350
My green one was a "Pea Picker". It had a small wheel in front, a springer front end, rear shocks on the seat, and a "stick" 5 speed. When I got a new 10 speed my parents sold the Pea Picker for $10. Guess which one is worth more now? Brings back memories.
Sorry for the Hijack,
Good luck on the sale.

Sweet Schwinn, I had a green 2 speed, you whould kick back for second gear. Next up was a red 3 speed w/ the stick, it got swiped from a friends front yard while we were in back.
Pops must have been insured cuz he took me up to the bike shop & let me pick out a blue 5 speed w/ the stick shift. Another kid down the street had a 5 speed too. We were like what gear you in ? I'm going for 4th.........
Good times.

Apple Crates were RED! I had one of those. Spring front end with shocks for the banana seat.
