Sportsmen's Show Update
Just got back from delivering the ifish hats to Dennis Stewart at the Salmon Master booth #1029.
GIVE YOURSELF SOME EXTRA TIME! Traffic was really heavy and parking was scarce. Great early turnout for the show.
Funny how a record return of the salmon seems to drive our economy!
Enjoy, Jeff

Jeff, I will be out on Friday, mid-afternoon if all goes well. I will bring the hats and money to your booth.

Re: Sportsmen's Show Update
Just got home from Sportsman Show. It seemed like I-Fish reunion @ the Sportsman Show. I saw Catch 22, Oh My Kiss, Stu, RT, Chris Sessions, and one more I can't remember the name. It was very crowded, and if the rain continues, and the rivers go out, WOW it will be crowded. It's a good show, lots of Guides, Lodges, and new tackle, and boats. Check out the new Rouge River Marine boat, it looks a little like a Drift Boat, and a little like a Skiff motorboat. It has a tunnel hull, and skoots along pretty fastw/ a 9.9hp kicker motor. It seems not too funtional, a bit over priced for sure.

Re: Sportsmen's Show Update
Oh yeah!! I also stopped by Jimmy's booth. He builds and sells the coolest barbeque pits around. Look for the "Just the Pits" sign.

Re: Sportsmen's Show Update
Catch 22, di you need a step ladder to belly up to the B-B-Q grill? and did Jimmy have his oxygen tank there too. Oh, that's right he has a multi drawer tackle box that he opens and us use as a stair case to peek into the boats or grills. I'm headed over Friday mid afternoon if all works out and I can get off by 2 pm. See you there?

Re: Sportsmen's Show Update
I made it to booth 1029 and picked up my hat and Jen threw in a couple stickers to boot....she must of felt sorry for me packing around my three boys though the crowded show. Man, what a nightmare trying to keep a family together in that mess.
I wish I knew more of you by face, but if everyone wears their hats then I will know who to say hi too. I like the name on the back of the hat idea, wish I would have thought about it while I was there.
Nice to meet you in person Jen, keep up the awesome work.

Anita at NW Outdoor Repair and Embroidery. Take her some teriyaki jerky and she'll do a great job. Heck, she'd do a great job anyway. But a little bribery is always good.

Re: Sportsmen's Show Update
Met Gizmo and Dennis last night at Dennis' booth and 'fessed up to my lurking habits. I guess I missed meeting Jennie by about 10 minutes. Bummer! I bought my iFish hat and wore it proudly the rest of the evening.
I just wish the show had been open an hour or two later. By the time I got to all of the tackle near the trout pond, it was time to go home.

Re: Sportsmen's Show Update
I too missed Jennie by a couple of minutes but she was wondering around, I guess. We got there at 2:30 and walked and walked until 6:30 and then left. We were lucky. When we got there, they were turning away cars from the parking area but since we had a handicap permit, we were let in and got the last, yes the very last parking place. When we were leaving, the cars were still lined up back to I5. I have been going to these since the late 60's and never have I seen so many people. It was a great show, but for a guy with bad feet and legs, it tired me out. Need to go fishing to get back in shape.
