It's a very good late fall bass lake! It is a little slow coming on in the spring. It also fishes very good super early in the morning in the summer!
Like FishnFun said the lake is a very good topwater lake. Wood, rock, weed lines and pilings are good cover types that hold bass. But if you have the time to run a little farther Silver is better early in the year and it hold more big fish. But I fish Lacamas alot in the summer! I love fishing inside weed lines in May on lacamas Lake.

I used to do so well at Lacamas 10 years ago, but the last 2 or 3 I can't find em'. Never caught big ones but the #'s were good. Guess I'll try again this year.

i agree with roger. evening fishing around the lily pads are good too during the summer. don't be afraid to drop a senko into pockets in the algae. i've caught one in about a ft of water.
