Default N Umpqua fishing

Heading over tomorrow morning from Bend. Any fishing reports would be great as I have not fished the fly water for at least 10 years. I would prefer to swing(no comment) but if the fish are coming on the nymph I got game for that to. Looking at the area above Steamboat. Since I am coming from the east were is a good spot to start? Thanks for any info

Getting about to the end of the line over here. If you go please stay out of spawning gravel areas. That includes a lot of the area upstream from Steamboat(which incidentally many people have been targeting of late). They spot fish off the road in gravel and pester them. Not good. Let them do their thing.

It's plenty high, and it's raining old mare and flat rock at the moment.
