Just a note to Say Hello

A friend recently introduced me to the web site, I think its great! When I was A youngster I lived in Garibaldi and fished alot for steelhead,cutthroat, and salmon. I stopped fishing for several years College, moving,ect.
I recently started fishing again after a trip to Idaho with my Dad (a trip he has wanted go on for years) the two of us caught and released 55 rainbows in three days. Now the fever is back!
I have managed a few trips up the Wilson when the my wife and my boss let me. Used to fish the Miami,Kilches,and South fork of the Nehalem, about 25 years when I lived in the area. Hope to get in some more fishing soon, went last Wednesday on the Wilson and Kilches but the water was on the rise. Good fishing to all. hope to see some of you on the river.

I'm interested in your perspectives on the difference between now and 25 years ago on the Tillamook area streams. How are the rivers different? How are the fish runs different from what you remember? How have techniques changed?
