Re: Time to buy New Net. What kind?
can someone tell me why the Beckman (at about 2x the price) is so great?
Also considering a Beckman, but the price ALWAYS turns me away

Beckman... I just replaced my old one with a super deep bucket, rubber coated Beckman... looks really nice now I just need a fish to go in it!

Beckman! Top quality construction. They have a large hoop and sturdy design. Pick one up and then pick up a "cheaper" brand. You can feel the difference in quality.
IMHO

Re: Time to buy New Net. What kind?
Beckman...about $90, yolk is guarentted for life, the bags are sweet, easier on the fish, handles are premium, there is no comparison. You will spend more in the long run replacing others then you will up fron for one of these!

Re: Time to buy New Net. What kind?
OK! I think I got Beckman on the Brain now.
How does a Frabill (sp)? compare to a Beckman?? I noticed that they both make the rubber coated nets. Would Frabill be an OK net?
I don't mind spending $$ for quality that can stand the test of time.
thanks

Please listen to popular opinion. Frabill Shmaybill.
Get the Beckman. I have the Tyee model. Last Net I think I'll ever need.

Re: Time to buy New Net. What kind?
Beckman! Unless you loose it you will never need another net. Get the biggest hoop and long handle. Mine is an older one, can you buy the coated replacement bags at FM?
