Default Reels
Was wondering, has anyone tried the Shakespeare Tidewater Reels? Looked at one at West Marine today, felt good but have not seen any comment on them.

I have seen them and thought about one of them because they are cheap. For the money I would add couple of bucks and buy a penn 500 for a little over fifty bucks. The penn 500 I have is pretty impressive because I have caught numerous oversized fish and really smooth for salmon. The drag on the reel doesn't seem that it could handle large fish.
