Prayer for my back
I have been in my bed for a week with my back. Every movement is torture. I have a herniated disc in my lower back. I have a terrible back, but the Lord touched me last year and I did not have to have back surgery. I want prayer for healing and guidance through this situation.

Been there done that like some others. I had the surgery last fall and can say now that it's as if it never happened. I am truely thankful for the skills of my surgeon, and wish you a speedy recovery. I hear the fish calling your name.

Thank everyone for all the prayers. Update is that I am walking which is a good thing. I see the doctor Thursday and will see what the next step might be. Again I know that prayers work and am sincerely thankfull for everyone. Thank God for the Joy he gives in times of struggle and pain.

I had surgery in December to repair my L5 herniated disc that was pinching my nerve. It has helped although I really haven't been able to test it out completely yet (I don't want the L6 disc to go bad too). Most of the original pain is gone, but I can't say it is completely pain free, I don't know if it ever will be, but it is definitley better after surgery. Good luck and if you can have it surgically repaired it is probably worth it. It has been for me.
