Default Tag Your Fish

The State police were on the Siletz, Sat, in there drift boat and writing tickets for people who had fish in ther boat and had not punched there ticket. So, just a warning, tag that fish if you keep it and dont want to do it later.

All retained fish must be recorded immediately "in pen". Any delay or use of pencil is a citable offense, not just on the Siletz.

Really sad you have to remind people to tag their fish. All fish should be tagged right after you drop your fish in the box. Personally I dont even put my line back in the water till I've tagged my fish, that way I dont forget.

when i'm lucky enough to tag a fish, as soon as it's unconscious, it gets tagged. then i get back to cutting gills and tying it up somewhere in the water. then i sit down and have a cigarette. it's a lucky day when i get to tag a fish and i like to just take a little time to enjoy before i get back to fishing.
