Thank You from Old Bill

Old Bill wants to thank all who donated toward His 89th birthday gift. He said you Guys & gals are the greatest.Along with the gear We purchased for Him,We also gave Hife Wife a gift cert.for letting Him come out and play with us,

Thank you Ron, for taking on the task of collecting donations, purchasing card, rod, misc. gear and gift certificate. Also thanks for respooling the donated reel, arranging to get Bill down to the river for presentation of gifts and helping Bill with experiencing "fish on" on his birthday.
Bill called me today and expressed gratitude towards everyone who helped with this. He said it was the best birthday ever. More than he ever expected. He wanted me to thank those he didn't know.
So thanks to ryanfish, Mr. Dorkfish, Navigator, firedog, STZ II(Pete) and Microfish from ifish. Nine other Oxbow Park anglers and/or employees also contributed. Ron say's he thinks someone else contributed too, but can't remember who(I think he's trying to get in on the next round of gift giving).
Bill was given a ten foot Shimano rod, a very slightly used Ambassader XLT 550 casting reel spooled with new line, misc. lures and hooks and a $30 gift certificate for him and his wife.
Thanks again to everyone. These guys are really one of our great resources. I really enjoy seeing these guys out fishing.
