Default Santiam 02-02-02

Fished Greens Bridge To Beuna Vista ...not a bump for me but saw a nice , bright , hatchery , hen caught in the North just above the confluence and saw one lost at the same spot ...heard of a native released and a boat with two fish above the tressel on the main stem pushing plugs or diver/bait on the south side of the river ...where were you T-Jet ??? Good tidings to all ...Swampy over and out .

Hi Swampy! I had to put some new tires on the truck Saturday. They were pretty bad. Didnt want you making fun of them also! Sorry I missed you, hope to put some hours in this weekend. If you look at the old posting I sent you some questions.I want to know if you have run up past greens bridge? I was almost into Stayton and there is a large log jam blocking the river, want to know if you have seen it.

T-Jet are you talking about the huge log jam between green bridge and Shelburn?

Yes!!! Have you tried to get around it? How far have you run the S. Fork this year? I ran up to the dam last year and have yet to go up that side this year.

Hey , T-Jet ...I would guess that you know more about the Santiams than I do ...I went sat w/ The North Santiam River Guides to learn some things and they have a trip planned for early for eary march from Stayton to Greens Bridge .They tell me the log jam has been cleared . All the way to the dam ?!? youda' man . Why don't we run the river sometime and you can make me eat my words !!! Nice feeling to have new rubber , huh ? I blew a tire on my North River trailer last summer ...no fun man. I went part way up the south side last spring but only a few miles before sucking a rock and turned around ...wussed out . good luck this weekend and I will check your post to see if I can answer any of your questions ...see ya.
