Default Coastal River Springer Run

Does the Wilson, Nestucca or the Trask get much of a spring chinook run ? If so, which one do you prefer, or which one gets the biggest run?

Bill says,
"All three have a run. However, in recent years, The Nestucca's run has outshined the Trask run as the best, due to the Three Rivers Hatchery. These are late runs that don't really start until May and peak out in mid June.
Sometimes the biggest springers around are caught out of the coastal system. Especially the Trask."

Affirmitave on what Jen said, and remember this year we have an increased opportunity on springers.

In years past the season has closed June 15th. But now, the springers are 100% adipose clipped and the season has been extended to July 31rst ! Only adipose-clipped springers may be retained.

Gone Fishin (Marty) Are the Spring Chinook 100% fin clipped for the Trask & Wilson rivers? Also was there ever a native spring Chinook run on these rivers? I always thought there wasn't but I'd like to know for sure.
