Default NorthRiver Fuel tank

Does anyone know where the sending unit is under the floorboards on a scout? I need to drain my tank and would like to take a look at the sending unit. How hard is it to get into the tank to pump it?

thanks
chris

on my 03 n.w sportster with a 200 sportjet there in no access panel in the floorboard,so i had to remove a section or the floor board, then the sending unit is in the top of fuel tank at rear.easy to remove.

I have a 20' Scout and pulled my floor boards at the end of last season. It was not a big deal and should be done every few years. Once there off you can check for cracks in the support runners and check all the hoses. If you are draining the tank for bad fuel make sure and replace all the fuel hose, it is probably bad.

Good Luck, Jeff
