Default Open Seat Sat. Feb27th- St Helens or Sellwood or ....

I have one maybe 2 open seats if you want to squeeze into my 14' welded alum crestliner (john boat). It would be more comfortable with 2 but can fit 3 if you have a friend who would like to go. More poles = more chances @ fish. My gas kicker has an oil leak so I'll be using a 24vlt electric trolling motor, it should do the job though for downhill trolling. I have a 30 hp for my main motor, which can get me around pretty fast if need be.

This is my 2nd year springer fishing. Have never landed one yet, so if someone has some experience and is willing to teach me a few tricks that would be a plus. I've fished the mid-Columbia quite a bit with my dad, but last year was my 1st on the lower columbia.

I have a couple poles, grn herring, and brads cut plug, but if you have your own gear please bring it.

Planning on starting early on Saturday @ St. Helens or Sellwood. I live near beaverton so i'm open for other suggestions as well.

pm if you are interested

One of the secrets to having more luck.
More scent, flash, action, lucky rod.
Looks like you got it figured out.
