Default It is with great sadness...........

It really makes me sad to have to say goodbye to Hookset as moderator. :depressed:
He is the one of the most loyal, thoughtful and level headed guys I have met.
I really have reservations in doing this, but he has told me it is time for him to step down.
Dang, I'll miss this guy and his opinions on things!
:depressed: I can't say much. I'll cry.
I don't know why it's hit me so hard, but it has.
I mean, he'll still be around, just not as much.
I want to take a moment to thank him publicly for the service he has given you and I, here at ifish.
Moderating is (sorry... was disrupted by a very rude phone call.) Moderating is a tough and thankless job. Let's give him a hand!

Thanks, Hook!
I'll try a smile....

Love ya...
Jen

Hook', I will miss your touch on the board, but hope to enjoy your friendship for a long time! I was always impressed with how clearly you understood issues and how deftly you knew the correct response that has helped guide the board during what has been it's most active and peaceful. I hope you continue to share your wealth of fishing knowledge and expertise and wish you the best through the times ahead. Thanks!

There's always an open seat in my boat if you are available to fill it!

Thanks for all you've done Gregg. I'm really sorry to see you go. I particularly appreciate all your advice and the attitude you brought to the board. You did a great job as a moderator and will be missed. If you're ever looking for someone to fish with, I'm not too far away. Thanks again.

Thanx Gregg for all your efforts here. It has not gone unnoticed. Hopefully you will get to spend some more time on the water instead of watching the board. God bless.

P.S. I still think that "crap" is not a bad word!!

Thanks for all the kind words, had a great time as moderator. To be honest though, there are a great bunch of people here, moderating is something I did very little of. You and everyone else have made this a great board to participate on and visit.

Some people may be wondering why I stepped down........it's really rather simple. Over the next couple months I'll be moving (same area) and without a computer, no web access. So, stepping down appears to be the logical move.

I'm going to miss hanging around, visiting with the many people I've met here, people I consider friends and reading the latest stories.......this is better then TV!!

And...I'm really going to miss exchanging ideas with Jennie, she's one terrific lady. You go girl....

Even though I'm stepping down, I'll still be around here and there, just not as often. In parting, I'd like to ask for your help. As I already mentioned, we have the best board in the Northwest. If your wondering how you can help Jen and this site out, its really rather simple...... Welcome our new members, post a fishing report, share your expertise, take a member fishing, watch out for heated threads and remind them this is a friendly site, post often, share interesting stories and simply have fun.

Thanks for your generous comments and well wishes,

Gregg

Greg,

sorry to see you step down. I think you have done a great job! Now what is really scarey is the thought of a Snapshot or a BOE or a Uncle Bob as a moderator  .

Hope things work out for you sir. Good luck with the move.
