A 3/0 single and #1 treble trailer makes four hooks...the prior double herring post said three hooks the limit...whats OK? Need to know before tying up a bunch of new rigs. Doc

A treble is one hook. It's in the regs...

If that rig is illegal, most people fishing chovies on the rouge are in trouble. Salmonator is right, trebs count as one. Otherwise we wouldn't be able to have more than one treb on our plugs.
