So,my buddy that told me about the lake and I went on up there today. No snow, drove right to it.We got there at 12:30,fished from bank and only landed 2 Brookies in 3 hours.1-10 and 1-12..Had some other bites.Think a boat would have been better, could see lots of fish jumping further out.The water was still very cold.It was a great day to be in the mountians,,better luck next time.

I was up hunting years back and stumbled onto that lake. Went around to the backside with the shore? Pulled out the poles and hammered the rainbows. Havent been back since. Dont think I could find it if I tried.
Gonna have to try soon.

i have fished that lake my whole life and never caught a rainbow, not saying they arent there but we have slamed the brooks almost every time and never seen or heard of until now that there are bows in there. the snow pack can be a doozy early spring when it gets hard on the corners, we have had some close calls. but it is worth the trip anytime you can make it in there.
