Default Tooning on the Tualatin River

Where can you launch a toon on the Tualatin thats pretty calm? Can you share your experience. Im a little weary on taking a toon on a river, I looking for some info on how you guys do it.

You don't have too much to worry about on the Tualatin. Can always find someone to go with you, and wear a PFD.

Don't have a toon, but have launched the fishing Kayak out of Dodge Park in Tigard. They have a nice little ramp, just for small boats. From there go up river, there is a little current around the first bend, but smooth after that up to Hwy 99. If you get tired, you can always float back to the launch.

Thanks for the info, I'll try the Tualatin as soon as the weather stats turning around, hopefully theres a break this weekend.
