Default Little Free Expo Center Parking this year

I was at the Expo Center for the Farm Show today...and the news isn't good for us cheapskates. There is major construction on the west side of the South access road, due to the Interstate MAX line. Just a very few parking spots along the road.

I'll admit, I have always gotten there early, parked along the road, and walked on in. I tell myself it's been because I really needed the walk, but I know better....just cheap

Anyway, if you normally park out there, bring an extra $5 for that parking lot or Portland Meadows and ride a shuttle.

Just think, for the 2005 show, we can ride the MAX line right up through NE Portland, and be let off in the parking lot (probably only take 45 minutes from downtown, there will likely be about 99 stops).

5.00 doesnt sound so bad when you think how much money came out of your pocket for that stupid train. Next thell probably run a line to camp dignity.

Unfortunately, I believe they are routing a bus or two to camp "dignity", and you can bet the next place they decide to move will be right close to the line!!!

As for parking on the weekends, the Sportsman's show is important enough to me to take a few hours of vacation time during the week. I absolutely detest going on the weekend, where you don't get to stand in one place, just get pushed along by the crowd!!!
