I don't have the regs in front of me and I don't know where they are, so is it open above Northfork for Steelhead and if so how high up. I used to fish and camp around Carter Bridge when I was a kid. I never fished for anything but Trout back then. I remember alot of nice water and guys fishing for steelhead, man did I think thouse fishermen were great being able to catch big bright fish. I never knew I would be doing it myself some day. My Dad never got into the Steelhead fishing and to this day I don't think he has caught one.

bh, so close , yep, dave is correct, they are wild fish sanctuaries now. However, I do hear of people fishing for trout on the clackamas up in that area...not sure about the sandy...at least something you should look into Hope this helps!
