Default North Coast Conditions?

I would like to come to the beach this weekend if the rain will hold off. It looks kinda sad however. How is the Kilchis looking Jen after todays rains? Is the low snow levels keeping them in check? Anyone see what the Necanicium looks like?

Let me know.....thanks...

If your gonna start young son...you gotta stick it out...

...and then we can look at the Willie trend.... and decide... let's see...
Things are going up, lots of rain coming in.
I think the rivers will be high soon.
The Kilchis was quite low yesterday.
Can't see it this morning, but there is still snow on the ground here. When that melts, we got high water. My bet.

The rivers have been fishing for the last several days. By the looks of it with the rising temps and rain it's going to be iffy on the coast.

Weather Service has issued flood watch on coastal streams for Sunday night and Monday.

The Wilson is already starting to come up.

Well I can see the coast is out for the weekend as usuall. Astoria has recieved almost an inch since midnight (.97) and that is sure to rise. Along with the melting snow that equals 0 fishing.

I almost wish my grass was growing....NOT.

My buddy and I fished the Necanicum Monday and it was really dropping but in great shape. Hooked several fish but mostly runbacks. It may fish but you might have to fish it up high.

Drifted the Nestucca today. I was one of two boats. Started to rain around 8:00am and didn't quit all day. River had ok color when we started but was rising all day and got more color. If this rain keeps up the Nestucca will be out. Fishing was pretty good.

Don't know about the weekend, but both the Necanicum and NF Nehalem were blown out this afternoon. Necanicum was over the bank at some places along 26 and NF Nehalem was over the handicapped ramp at the hatchery.
