help on mercury outboard moter question

hey i got a 1996 mercury 9.9 4 stroke moter for my boat i cannot find out if it uses a clutch, a pin or neither for the prop does any one know or even has a clue of what it might have. thank you

It uses a solid clutch that slides on the prop shaft to engage the gears. If yours is slipping it would have to be the hub in the prop

i was just worried if i hit something what would happen to it because i have had two hondas one with a clutch and one with that used pins.
