Default Lower Columbia Smelt

There were some smelt (not big numbers by any means) taken by the gillneters on the lower river today.............Bobber Down

Now, all you have to do is figure out how long it will take those little buggers to swim to the Cowlitz. Then be there with net in hand, good luck!

Are the gillnetters after the smelt or the sturgeon? If they are after the sturgeon do you know how they are doing? I am trying to find out if there are good numbers of sturgeon in the lower river this time of year.
