Default Zip up wading boots

These seem really neat, when you are freezing cold and wet.
Does anyone have any? I sure would like to get some if they are a good deal.
However, I saw some at GI Joe's and they zipped on the inside. This seems strange to me.
Education?

When you say zipped on the inside, I am taking it as they zipped up on the inner-sides of the boots.

I have had a zip-up pair of water boots with rubber soles, but not wading boots. They are wonderful. Very easy to take off and on.

My wading boots have a velcro strap; no laces. I like to be able to take my boots off quickly because you never know when a circumstance arises that you may need to get the boots off quickly. If they make a zip-up pair of wading boots with studded felt, I'd guarantee them a size 12 sale.

Jen,

Not sure if you are looking for easy to get on/off wading boots, or just a pair of knock around shoes.

If you are looking for a nice pair of wading boots that are easy on/off, I would recommend the boots from Chota.

I have a pair and they are really nice. They tighten with a pull of the elastic laces and then you cinch down the quick release.

Another nice feature is that they have small hard rubber spots in the soles where you can screw in removeable studs. Kind of nice to be able to switch between felt only and felt with studs.

I agree about the chota boots. they are by far the best wading boots that i have ever owned. just be shure to get the stl plus, they are the ones with the removable stud's the only downside about these boot's is the price, $114 but i've spent more than that on work boot's :depressed:

If you mean the neoprene booties that zip up the inside ankle, I have a pair. If you are in a boat or on a beach they are the best. No cold toes for me! I wear then on the Rogue, Willamette and the Columbia. I wouldn't want to wear them if I had to walk in any big rocks (week ankle, old drift boat accident), but for everything else, they are the best.
