Default Sandy

Well we talked about the Seaside stream yesterday and today we headed to the Sandy up by Oxbow. First time here for me and my partner....gosh...a lot of room if you like to walk..this is much bigger water then we are used too. We did end up hooking three...thats it..remote catch and release. Saw two others hooked. Quite a few drift boats.

That wasn't a lot of drift boats on the Sandy today. That was a relatively slow day  I was in the Black Willie, don't know if you saw us or not. You hooking three did better than we did in the boat, was a slow day for us.

I'm not going to feel to bad for you Firedog. You'll get yours. I heard there were a couple hooked and lost in the drift you fished last Wednesday night. It has been a little slower the last couple days but I've still seen a couple nice fish each of the last couple days even though I haven't been able to check things out much. A few retreads showing up in the catch too. Water is looking great so I'll have to get back out and try it soon. I hope the freezing level stays low and it doesn't warm up and rain much.

Wiser, I heard someone did pretty well in that spot yesterady afternoon also. We fished it this morning on our way down and nothing for us or one of the guides that fished it. I would guess the guy who fished in there before me last week was the one that hooked the fish today, he came in as we were leaving. Was tough fishing down below, like I said we didnt touch a fish and the boats we saw were all fishless also. I might be up later in the week, otherwise next week if the snowmelt doesnt screw things up to bad.
