Default Kevlar thread

Today I saw some cheap Kevlar thread. I was wondering if anyone has tried this for fishing. It had a very small diameter. It was extremely strong and almost invisible. I was wondering if it would hold a knot and be good for trolling or flyfishing.

I don't know about using it as a leader, but its great stuff for tie-off loops when building a rod.

I have bought(mail order/catalog/internet retailer than begins with "C") and used Kevlar thread for tying flies. Works very well!

I use it for tying hair bodied flies, jig heads and for wrapping kwikfish. It doesn't take normal knots well, but does hold if you use a good whip finish. It requires sharp scissors, not matter what you do with it.

I use different brands of Kevlar thread for tying jigs and they all are super strong.
