Sportsmans Show, PDX
Just got back from the show. Wanted to see my daughter who lives in the Portland area, and wanted to see all the displays that never make the Central Oregon show. I was impressed! Great to see JZell, FWG, Vance Staplin, Jared Johnson, Buzz Ramsey, Randy Woolsey, Capt. Dennis Hay and others that never get down this way! Lots of new stuff to try. Jzell, thanks for posting the Longliner. One of the displays I somehow missed!

Just flew back home this morning. This is the first time I spent the entire time at the sports show and it was tremendously impressive. First off, it was terrific getting time to talk with anglers that fish for all types of species including Walleye and Salmon. Oh how I miss Salmon fishing!!
Take it from a Californian that know's.... Unite and Fight to protect your fisheries!!!!!! It is amazing how fast the "powers that be" can rob us of our natural resources.
We had a great show and I had a great time meeting and sharing stories with people from ifish.

With the economy the way it is I was going to restrict my trips over the mountains this year, but if Moknots is buying the first round, well, I may make an exception

It looks like next year I may have to hit the PDX Sportsman's show to see some of the people that don't make it to CO.
