You didn't hear much about it cause there was not a real public process. Same thing the Gov tried to do with Marine Reserves, but he got caught.

Yes this is a shame! Things should have been dealt with differently! Mandatory 4 stroke's for one thing, but then again I heard the only way the greenie's could get it done was to make it into a "noise issue"! This is a huge lake, not sure noise could ever be a problem, and the lake has never been declared as having a pollution problem! I know allot of sailboats and paddlers use it, and I think they just wanted it all to them selves! We need to get rid of our Governor next election,( I think he's done anyways!) or anybody like him, and make sure these issue's like this are known to all! It was absoultly hidden from the sportsmen. I feel terrible about this! I knew about this 2 yrs ago and did nothing! It is a special place!

OK, got politics covered. Shall we talk religion? I got a SWEET savior if anyone is in need. If you really want to get cranked up, check out what the governor did in shutting down TWO approved destination resorts in Jefferson County. Wore his waders, but totally subverted the process. Shut the land owners up with "development credits" and is accussed of buying a key legislator with a job. WOW!!!

I, for one, am FOR the fishies and the deep blue sea, but way against that kind of politics. So who let the dogs out?? TT and WF, good for you.
