Sellwood wrap-up 3/6/04: ODFW Fish-checker said 6 salmon, 3 sturgeon checked at Willamette Park Ramp at 1530 hrs. :depressed:

The Chief had an early one, appx 20 lbs; & one other SPRINGER! was boated next to us. I did get to tail a 52-inch sturgeon for a dock fisherman while on a stretch break . Maybe ORS will post a pic of it for us Ifishers. (?) [img]graemlins/idea.gif[/img]

It was really SLOW today on the Willy for Slammin, IMO.

Hello Boatdog, I have to agree turtlesoup is quite funny. Word has it soup is quite a perch fisherman. Your sellwood update as of sunday 2:30. Painfully slow, over 35 boats this morning with only a rumor of one that was netted. Currently 8 boats still trying. Boy's at the dock saw one nice fish knocked off. (wonder if their still buddies). Conditions in terms of water color is still off abit. However with that said, sat am saw a flurry of action all before 9:00am. Happy fishing, from The Happy Hooker

Yo Boatdog, Sunday's are late arrivals for the crew here at the dock. Gives us little time to fish for perch in the am. If you post up in the middle, it's an easy score to the hole. Set the hook slowly and it will bring smiles all around.
