Plunking at broughton beach

Has anyone ever been there plunking it is the beach buy the boat ram near PDX off marine drive I just kinda was wondering if it is a worth wile spot to try for springers. If so how much weight you think I will need to stay in place they way it looks 6. oz would be more then enough.

How is that new rod and reel working? I have a bank rod that you can use . Just where is this beach? I have some cured eggs for you the next time your over . Good fishing

Hey Don glad to see you joined the beach is right buy the boat ramp behind the airport I herd someone mention plunking there was hoping it would be a good spot for springers otherwise it is under the 205 bridge for me. The new rod works awesome went out in the clackamas behind safway the other day it can cast a four ounce from the parking lot almost all the way across the river. Dot need to cast that far but I can if I need to. I only got one bite but I still have to learn to pay attention wile plunking I was sitting in the car cause it was raining buy time I got to the rod the fish has split need to sharpen my hooks I finally got a hook sharpener. I still am worried the rod will not work for the bank for sturgeon might be a little to light but I am for sure it is land me a springer. oh and thanks for the egg's
