Hello everyone,
I am a certified new member on ifish.net. I have been using the information on this website for a few months since Joe Schwab mentioned it to me while we were out fishing on Tillamook bay. I have fished with Joe in Alaska on two occasions and my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed ouorselves. Joe and his wife Evelyn are wonderful people!
In general I will fish just about any water on any given day. How does that saying go? "Born to fish forced to work." I fish in a 16' Koffler driftboat and am always interested in learning new water throughout the state. I live in Troutdale so I fish the Sandy and the Clackamas most of the time. I do make at least two trips to the Siletz each winter as it is one of my favorites. I was raised on the coast and drifted the Siletz frequently with my dad when I was a kid. It has always produced alot of fish! I look forward to participating in some of the upcoming events this year. Unlike our other new member Bryan, I will share information with anyone regarding fishing or water conditions. If I cant be out there catching fish then I would want someone else out there catching them for me. Life is too short! Treasure your time outdoors!
Kevin.

Hi Kevin, welcome. Tell us a story from your mispent youth on the Siletz.
As far as Bryan goes he represents a viewpoint that not many agree with. He is welcome all the same.

Welcome Kevin
I figure I have ruffled enough feathers already today.
When springers get in the Willamette shoot me an email and I will make a seat for you chasing springers in my boat. I fish almost every morning before work for an hour or so and longer on the weekends. Dont listen to the others about my springer catching abilities, they are just jealous of my new boat top.

Re: New Member
Welcome Kevin,
I'm one of those tight lipped guys. Oh hell, that's long enough. Only got pictures of five fish that were retained and two natives being released. To bad I didn't get to check the river much today. Well I'm never going to tell where on the Sandy River in Oxbow park that I took those pictures or missed pictuers of two others released and four others taken home. Never, Never, Never. Wouldn't even tell Firedog....

Re: New Member
Welcome Kevin,
I'm fairly new to Ifish myself and so far it's been a fine party with some serious but fun party goers on board. Hope to see you on the river some day, just watch for that driftboat with the alligator in the front rod holder.
