Default Cathlamet Springers

I'm planning a trip to Cathlamet the week of 21> I'm looking for local information on where and when to fish this area from a 16 sled. Any help and advise will be apreciated.

Just follow the crowds from the launch down toward the Oregon side. Most of the trolling takes place over by Clifton on the flood tide. On the ebb most anchor on the inside corner of the island in 10-20ft water depending on the runoff. Watch out for deadheads in the Clifton Channel! You don't want to find them at "on step" speeds. Good luck!

Rv salesman? How about you hook me up with a good deal on a camper for my dodge and I'll show you how it's done down there. Just kidding. Its pretty easy to figure out. Follow the boats they'll show you the way. Then you just need to do what they do.

Good Luck
