Beautiful clear water running a little fast in some regular spots for fly fishing but I had a great time throwing the Spey rod and enjoying Super Bowl Sunday outside with my son.
It sure has been slow. Boated McIver yesterday (Superbowl Sunday), only a few other anglers were around. Had one grab when stripping a fly after the swing, but didn't get a solid hookup. The weather made for a wonderful float.
fished it last monday, down low by OC. Hooked 1 and lost it after about 10 sec, and got another grab & headshake in the strip. Lots of pressure though.
